I created this illustration for the first volume of a proposed multi-volume African -Centered History of the World for the ASCAC organization. This illustration is derived from an original mixed-media piece of mine. The illustration depicts the African continent in what is commonly referred to as the "southern orientation" with south being up, and north-down.
