join us today to celebrate the 13th of April ... The day lebanese war began 30 years ago in 1975 ... To remember that painful date and wish and work that it ll never happen again

On this occasion souk el tayeb will be held on the Martyr’s square (the newly named “freedom square” ) in the heart of beirut, as the “united farmers of Lebanon – mouzaryiin koulounna lel watann”

Souk el tayeb, the first famers market in lebanon, is a gathering of passionate farmers and food producers from all over Lebanon ... When talking about National Unity, it is the true one that we live in souk el tayeb ... All different from many regions, religions and confessions ... And all united by care, love and responsibility of our land, mother earth : true land lovers in all what it means

Souk el tayeb will be held from 2 pm till 10 pm, showing wealth and diversity of human and land.
Lebanese flower growers ll be joining us, the market ll hold more than 25 stalls and 40 producers ... And in the heart of the “souk”, a huge 10 meters map, “kharitat el tayeb”, a map of Lebanon drawn without any name of city or village, but just with typical regional products and dishes : there is no Tripoli, but samkeh harra, no saida, but senioura, no zghorta, but kebbeh ...
The brochure that accompanies the map is a lebanese passport (same size and colour) ... All to say that this is the land, map and passport we believe in ... True land lovers, children of mother earth, gathered around a “life” table, sharing the same dream
