Forces and Motion
We examine the world of Physics according to Sir Isaac Newton, with his laws of motion and how they apply to our world today. Your teachers and students will see exciting examples of inertia, action and reaction, mass and acceleration, and much more they will long remember, while at the same time, REALLY learning the concepts behind them. From the exciting opening where a table cloth is pulled out, leaving the dishes behind, we hope; to the "daring and deadly dog dishes of death", ok, they're plastic and couldn't hurt anyone, but it sure sounds cool! We promise you your students and staff will think so too!
Crime Scene Science
We are proud to present Crime Scene Science, a brand new 45 minute program devoted to introducing students to the exciting field of the science behind solving crimes. In the process your students will be exposed to important aspects of critical thinking essential not only in the Scientific Method, but in all forms of Problem Solving.
We show the students that this field actually draws from all forms of science. Introduced also are basic rules of observation and creative thinking, as laid out many years ago by the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes.
The audience is informed of a great mystery, "The Great Cat Capper!". They are asked to help solve the crime. Using different tools, from assembling broken glass samples, casting footprints, fingerprinting, finding fingerprints, and forensic chemistry, the performer along with volunteers from the audience, will lead your students through a fun and illuminating journey with plenty of twists and turns, with an ending which may surprise even you!
With references to most scientific fields, along with humor, a touch or two of magic and plenty of fun, we think your school will find Crime Scene Science to be one mystery you will be happy to solve!
The Puzzling Environment
If you don’t have a solution, you’re part of the problem!
Its time to unscramble the confusion of posters, buttons, politics, sound bites and accusations about subjects like Global Warming. Mark Tripp shows you the hotline of environmental action, and how to direct your energy and concerns to clear purposeful action.
Our new program titled “The Puzzling Environment”, is a fast moving and clever program that is filled with exciting experiments, audience participation, and clean clever comedy to stimulate student attention to “everybody can do something” to protect the small planet on which we live.
Just how does your daily routine unknowingly rob or replenish the earth? What commonplace things in your life will have no place in a clean, green world? What devices and techniques will be used instead? Exactly what can you do today, that will make a difference right now? Mark Tripp will break open a store of tactics that you can begin right now, in your school, at home, at work or play, and especially in your mind to save the earth. Because everybody can do something!
As we have become educated and enlightened about Industries that have contaminated our planet for generations, we must now become educated and enlightened about the things you and I have been doing for generations that have equally contaminated the world we live in.
What can you do? You can contacts us today, and learn how everyone can so something, and let Mark Tripp guide you through the Puzzling Environment.
Magic of Mathematics
Making mathematics fun and exciting is a REAL magic trick! I have done it
with the Magic of mathematics. Students will learn Math is a "core science"
to many other sciences (i.e. chemistry, physics, etc.). Also, that Math is
how we measure everything in the world (time, distance, weight, etc.), and
that Math is how we "reference" ourselves to the world around us (location,
grade, money, where we are going, etc.).
Students will see exciting “magic
tricks”, and then learn the mathematic principles behind them! Addition,
Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Sets and Subsets, matrix principle,
and many more are taught in this show. However your students will learn this
in a fun and exciting way that will have them solving problems with ease and
excited to learn more! Let me bring that happiness to your school this year
with "The Magic of Mathematics!"
Fund Raising
We understand that in today’s struggling economy, raising money for your School’s projects is more important than ever. We also understand that you’re barraged with fundraising offers, the same ones everyone else are using, or trying to.
We have created the easiest fund raising project you will ever come across, and, its also the most fun. Dr. Tripp’s “The Creeping Thing from Planet 13” is a live show with a sensational promotional aspect. This show is an authentic recreation of the spook shows from the fabulous 1950’s, when wholesome family values were move evident.
Here are a few points to remember while considering this program for your next fund raising event:
We do 90% of the work.
- You receive 50% of the ticket sales.
- We provide a step-by-step ticket sales plan.
- Most schools raise between $1000 and $2000.
- This show is “Americana” and recognized as such by The Smithsonian Institute.
The live show consists of exciting science experiments presented as weird science fiction “Mad Scientist” stuff. The class selling the most tickets gets to select who goes to “The electric chair”! Not to worry, this is a harmless tesla coil; at least, Dr. Tripp says it is!
The show is 45 minutes long, followed by a vintage 60-minute science fiction movie. With an intermission, this makes for a full two hours of fun.
Please contact us, or leave word with your office, so that we can set up a time to briefly talk about the details.
Do this quickly, before the Creeping Thing from Planet 13, finds you…
