Wilderness Education Program
	Center for African Adventure's wilderness education program can take place on Mount Kenya, Hell's Gate National Park or the Nguruman forest. The skills you will learn are listed below. Outdoor Skills Campsite selection, fire building, stove use, sanitation and waste disposal, cooking, nutrition and rations, route finding, map reading and navigation, backpacking, rock climbing. Environmental Studies Minimum-impact camping, wilderness ethics, ecosystems, flora and fauna identification, geology, cultural issues. Leadership Responsibility, initiative, group dynamics, expedition planning. Safety Basic first aid, accident prevention, hazard evaluation, emergency procedures and rescue techniques.
